Gert began his involvement in the IT Industry in 1999 as a qualified technician consulting to small companies in the transport sector. Over a period of 10 years he has held various IT positions including Desktop technician, Asset Audit Team Leader, Network Administrator, Networking Manager, Branch Manager and Executive committee member of an ITC Company before starting Nextnet Networking CC in 2011.

Johan Jacobs

Technical Manager

Johan commenced his career in the IT industry in 2000 by obtaining A+ qualification. He then continued to expand his knowledge by working as an IT Consultant within the Free State area from 2003. During 2009 he went on to joined Sylvara Technologies KZN as Repair Technician and was in charge of all IT and electronic related repairs, warehousing and logistics. Johan is also the co-founder of Nextnet Networking CC.
